How it works

Locate a PowerShelter

You use the PowerShelter website, App, or your e-bike’s app (if they are one of our partners) to find a nearby participating location (e.g., a bar, restaurant, gym).

Drop off your battery

Either using the touch screen, your e-bike app or the PowerShelter app and do one of the following 3 things after the door automatically opens for you:

If using your e-bike’s app, one of the partner-branded compartments will open where you’ll find a built-in charger for your e-bike, plug in your battery, and shut the door.

If using your own charger, plug the charger into the outlet, plug in your battery, and shut the door.
If you just want to store your battery, that’s cool too. Just place it in and shut the door.

Charge and Go about your day

While the battery charges, you can relax at the venue, grab a meal, work out, or run errands, finally not having to worry about your battery being stolen or having range anxiety.
