What are the electrical requirements?
Electrical setup differs by region and model:
- SmartShelter (PS SS 7C OU – EU Hardwired):
Three-phase 400 V (230/400 V) hardwired connection with neutral and earth. Delivered with a 100 A internal breaker, which can be downgraded (e.g., 16 A, 32 A, 63 A) to match site capacity. The building’s upstream breaker should be one rating higher for proper selectivity (e.g., 20 A if the unit is set to 16 A).
- SmartShelter (PS SS 7C IN – EU Plug-and-Play):
Single-phase 230 V AC configuration designed for rapid deployment. Each unit connects via an industrial plug to a 16 A or 20 A dedicated circuit protected by an RCD/RCBO. This version is ideal where hardwiring isn’t required or temporary installation is preferred.
- SmartShelter (US):
Operates on 208Y/120 V three-phase power with neutral and ground. Each line (L1, L2, L3) is protected by a 20 A breaker and GFCI receptacle inside the main unit. Installing three dedicated 20 A single-pole breakers at the building panel supports up to three modules without rewiring.
- CoreShelter (EU):
Hardwired only. Single-phase 230 V AC, 16 A input, connected directly to a dedicated circuit with appropriate overcurrent and RCD/RCBO protection.
