Our mission

Our mission

PowerShelter transforms how cities, property owners, and riders approach e-mobility charging. Our innovative shelters provide secure, fire-safe charging infrastructure that bridges the gap between growing e-bike and e-scooter adoption and the critical lack of supporting infrastructure.

For cities, we offer a turnkey solution to address fire safety concerns, reduce congestion, and meet climate goals. For property owners, our shelters provide essential amenities that attract tenants while mitigating lithium battery fire risks.

For riders, we deliver peace of mind with convenient, secure charging stations that protect valuable batteries.

Our vertically integrated approach handles everything from site selection and planning to installation and ongoing operations, making implementation simple for our partners. With modular designs that adapt to any urban environment and software that connects our growing network, PowerShelter is building the foundation for a sustainable mobility future — one charging shelter at a time.

Building trust in e-mobility

The shift towards sustainable mobility will require trust from everyone involved. It’s why we prioritize safety and security.

Doing things the right way

Our Shelters are designed to offer the best experience to riders and the places they visit, helping make two-wheels the easy choice.

Securing the future of transportation

Companies have a responsibility to give back to the world. For every locker sold, we donate a bike to someone who needs it.

Created by the Riders,

PowerShelter was founded out of necessity by Brett and Jake whilst living in Amsterdam. They were fed up with having to bring their batteries with them everywhere they went, and not being allowed to charge at the office where they worked. They decided to do something about it, and are working to make this ever-so-common reality for e-bike riders a thing of the past.
